SELEUKID KINGS of SYRIA. Antiochos Hierax. Circa 242-227 BC. AR Tetradrachm (30mm, 16.87 g, 10h). Lysimacheia mint. Diademed head of Antiochos I right / Apollo seated left on omphalos, holding arrow and bow; two monograms in exergue. SC 857 = CSE 675 var. (same obv. die, different monograms); HGC 9, 399d; CNG 96, lot 540 (same dies). Good VF, toned, a couple light scratches and scrapes under tone, light die rust on obverse. Variety of a very rare issue, unpublished in the standard references.
