Claudius II Gothicus. AD 268-270. Antoninianus (20mm, 3.04 g, 6h). Rome mint. Issue IIa, circa AD 268-269. Radiate, draped, and cuirassed bust right / Jupiter standing facing, head right, holding scepter and thunderbolt. RIC V 52 var. (obv. bust not cuirassed). EF, brown surfaces, minor roughness. Overstruck on a brockage or clashed dies on the reverse.
