AVT KPAT K MA-PKOC AVP ANTWNEINOC, laureate and cuirassed bust right, cuirass ornamented with a gorgoneion / EPI CTR M KAIREL ATTALOU PERGAMHNWN PROTWN G NEWKORWN, three neocorate temples, the central one in elevation, with statue of Zeus Ateophoros, the two side tetrastyle temples in perspective. SNG France 5, 2229 (same dies); BMC Mysia pg. 156, 327 (reverse incorrectly described). EF, attractive dark brown patina with earthen overtones. An exceptional Pergamene medallion! ($5000)
