Phoenician galley left; Phoenician M and date above, waves below / King of Persia and driver in chariot drawn by three horses left; behind, King of Sidon standing left, in Egyptian dress, holding cultic scepter and votive vase; MZDY (in Phoenician [only traces visible]) above. E&E-S Group IV.6.1.n, 2002 (D29/R36 – this coin, illustrated); Betlyon 38; HGC 10, 264; DCA 858. VF, porous, edge bump and test cut. Very rare final regnal year issue, one of only nine recorded in E&E-S, none in CoinArchives.
