IMP GORDIANVS PIVS FEL AVG, laureate, draped and cuirassed bust right, seen from behind / PONTIFEX MAX TR P IIII, COS II P P in exergue, Gordian standing left in slow quadriga, holding branch and eagle-tipped sceptre, and being crowned by Victory; two solders left leading horses.
