THRACO-MACEDONIAN TRIBES, Mygdones or Krestones. Circa 490 BC. AR Diobol (11mm, 1.16 g). Goat kneeling left, head right / Quadripartite incuse square. Lorber, Goats 12 (this coin referenced); HPM –; AMNG III/2, p. 19, 9, pl. V, 28 = Rosen 89 = Walcher von Molthein 2598 (this coin). VF, toned, slight granularity, a couple old scrapes. Very rare.
