IONIA, Uncertain. Circa 600-550 BC. EL Hekte – Sixth Stater (9.5mm, 2.36 g). Lydo-Milesian standard. Thunderbolt / Two incuse squares. Linzalone Ln1143 = CNG 66, lot 465, otherwise unpublished in the standard references. VF. Extremely rare, apparently the second known.

Linzalone considers the obverse type to be a representation of the famed Gordian Knot.
