[R • CAXA • DE SOMBR]ETE, crowned coat-of-arms within a dotted circle; [8] and [R] outside of circle / Five countermarks: VARGAS within a rectangular incuse; 1811 within a rectangular incuse; to either side of date, crowned S between columns; below, 3 within a square incuse. BW 68.2; Grove 2047; Elizondo 53; ME 15847; KM 176. VF, traces of mostly erased undertype visible. Crudely struck as usual. The rarer of the two Sombrerete types.
