Long cross type, circa 997-1003. +ÆDELRÆD REX ANGLO, bare headed bust left / +BYR-HZIG MWO PÆRI, voided long cross with triple-crescent ends that extend to the edge of the flan. North 774; SCBC 1151. Toned, good VF, slightly wavy flan, die flaw in obverse field behind bust. Very rare. ($500)
