THRACE, Sestos. Circa 300 BC. Æ (13.5mm, 2.84 g, 11h). Head of Hermes left, wearing petasos / Kithara; Γ to left. Von Fritze, Sestos 16 var. (Γ not listed); SNG Copenhagen 936 var. (monogram to left on rev.); Lanz 153, lot 164 var. (B to left). VF, earthen green patina, slight roughness. Very rare.

Although Von Fritze does not list the Γ control mark, it is expected, as he does list A, B, Δ, and E.
