KINGS of THRACE, Macedonian. Lysimachos. 305-281 BC. AR Drachm (19.5mm, 4.21 g, 12h). Ephesos mint. Struck circa 294-287 BC. Diademed head of the deified Alexander right, with horn of Ammon / Athena Nikephoros seated left, left arm resting on shield, transverse spear in background; tripod to inner left, ZI in exergue. Thompson 170 var. (monogram in exergue); Müller 335 var. (nothing in exergue); NFA Summer MBS (June 1986), lot 162. VF, toned, minor double strike, a little off center and faint cleaning marks on reverse. Very rare variety with ZI.
