KINGS of THRACE, Macedonian. Lysimachos. 305-281 BC. AR Drachm (20mm, 4.26 g, 12h). Ephesos mint. Struck circa 294-287 BC. Diademed head of the deified Alexander right, with horn of Ammon / Athena Nikephoros seated left, left arm resting on shield, transverse spear in background; kithara to inner left. Thompson 174 var. (control mark on throne); Müller 355 var. (A on throne); Helbing (20 March 1928), lot 149 (same obv. die). VF, toned, slight die shift, trace deposits on reverse. Very rare with no control mark on throne.
