Type VIII (large bust, cross, and annulets), circa 1113. +hENRIC REX, large crowned bust left, holding sceptre / +GODPINE:ON:CIC, pierced jeweled cross with annulets enclosing pellets in quarters. Cf. Andrew pl. III, 4-6 (Chichester mint not recorded); cf. SCBI 20, 1527 (London mint); North 864; SCBC 1269. EF. The rarest type penny of Henry I, with approximately twelve specimens known from all mints. ($10,000)
