PHRYGIA, Kibyra. Circa 166-84 BC. AR Drachm (16mm, 2.62 g, 12h). Male head right, wearing crested helmet / Horseman galloping right, holding couched spear and palm; monogram behind, T-AY, MOV(quadrate Σ)AIO(quadrate Σ) (magistrate?), and KIBYPATΩ[N] below. Cf. HGC 7, 706 for type; otherwise unpublished in the standard references. Near VF, cleaning scratches, some roughness. Rare variety with an unlisted magistrate’s name (Mousaios).
