GERMANY. A collection of one hundred eighty-six coins and tokens, mostly from the period of World War I. Prisoner of War Camp tokens "Kriegs- oder Gefangenlager Geld", in aluminum, zinc, steel and brass (46) // WWI and post war period local tokens "Kriegs- oder Not Geld", in aluminum, zinc, steel, brass, porcelain, encased postage stamps (88) // Westphalia. 1923 Notgeld type set, 50, 10,000, 2 Million, 5 Million, 50 Million (aluminum and gilt bronze), 1 Billion Mark (7) // Other German coins, pre-WWI to Nazi period, including four Prussia AR Five Mark and German occupied countries in WWI and WWII (44) // Plus a Lusitania medal by Karl Goetz, AR 58mm, appears to be a later copy. Many scarce to rare tokens in this collection, inspection is advised. Average Fine to Unc, several of the zinc and steel tokens with traces of corrosion. LOT SOLD AS IS, NO RETURNS.
