CELTIC, North-Eastern series ('Corieltauvi'). Uninscribed. Circa 50 BC - AD 30. AR Unit (14mm, 1.44 g, 6h). Hostidius/Proto-Boar with Spear type. Boar standing right, with bristles on back and pincer-feet; ringed-pellet to left, solar anemone above, four-armed swastika to right, crescent below / Celticized horse left; pellets and ringed-pellets in beaded circle around. Leins Subtype 1b;Van Arsdell 855-3; ABC 1779; SCBC 396. CCI 030159 (this coin). Good VF. Well struck for issue. Very rare.
