CARTHAGE, Second Punic War. Circa 220-205 BC. EL Three-eighths Shekel (15mm, 2.78 g, 12h). Head of Tanit left, wearing wreath of grain ears, single-pendant earring, and necklace / Horse standing right, with far foreleg raised. Jenkins & Lewis Group XV, 482–4; MAA 73b; SNG Copenhagen 334. Near EF, toned, light roughness. Very rare.
