AVARS. Pseudo-Imperial coinage. AV Solidus (21mm, 4.36 g, 12h). In the name of Byantine emperors Heraclius and Heraclius Constantine (610-641). Crowned facing busts of Heraclius, bearded, and Heraclius Constantine, beardless; cross above, blundered pseudo-legend around / Cross set on four steps; upper three bars each end with pellet; blundered pseudo-legend around. Cf. Elemér 6-8 (for type); cf. Bóna 3a-b; cf. MIB 110d6 (for prototype). Near EF, toned, small hairline flan crack. Rare.
