MOROCCO, 'Alawi Sharifs. Muhammad V. First reign, AH 1346-1372 / AD 1927–1953. AV Medal (25mm, 15.71 g, 12h). By J.H.. Dated AH 1372 ([in Hindu-Arabic numerals] AD 1952). Bust slightly left, wearing djellaba (outer robe) and qob (hood); above, crown flanked on either side by pair of stars / Parasol above crown and five-pointed star set on ground line; radiate sun rising in background; AH date in exergue. Eustache 1572. EF, lustrous, a few minor hairlines.
