KINGS of THRACE, Macedonian. Lysimachos. 305-281 BC. AR Tetradrachm (31.5mm, 16.64 g, 12h). Pergamon mint. Struck circa 287/6-282 BC. Diademed head of the deified Alexander right, with horn of Ammon; K below / Athena Nikephoros seated left, left arm resting on shield, transverse spear in background; crescent to outer left, cult image to inner left, ZΩ monogram in exergue. Arnold-Biucchi, Pergamene 33 (O8/R32); Thompson 220; Müller 294; SNG France –; SNG Tübingen 959 (same dies); Boston MFA 832 (same dies). EF, attractive gray tone with golden hues, light scratch and flan flaw on reverse. Fine style portrait.
