MOESIA INFERIOR, Nicopolis ad Istrum. Plautilla. Augusta, AD 202-205. Æ (27mm, 13.42 g, 7h). Aurelius Gallus, legatus consularis. Struck AD 201-203. Draped bust right / Campgate surmounted by superstructure with four columns and gabled roof. Cf. H&J 8.14.46.4 for an issue of Septimius Severus from the same reverse die; otherwise unpublished in the standard references. Near EF, dark green patina. Very rare.
