GALATIA, Ancyra. Caracalla. Caesar, AD 196-198. Æ (29mm, 16.72 g, 1h). Bareheaded and draped bust right / She-wolf right, head left, suckling the twins Remus and Romulus; in exergue, anchor left. Arslan – (but same obv. die as 73); SNG France –; SNG von Aulock 6187 corr. (listed tentatively under Elagabalus; same dies). Good VF, dark brown patina, thin flan crack. Rare.
