THESSALY, Pharsalos. Early 4th century BC. Æ Trichalkon (20mm, 8.58 g, 9h). Helmeted head of Athena facing slightly left / ΦΑ Ρ/ΣΑ around from upper left (Σ retrograde), Thessalian warrior on horseback rearing right, brandishing flail. Cf. Lavva 350; Rogers 500; BCD Thessaly II 672.1 var. (orientation of ethnic); HGC 4, 648. Good VF, dark green patina.
