EUBOIA, Karystos. 4th-3rd centuries BC. AR Hemidrachm (13.5mm, 1.73 g, 11h). Head of Herakles right, wearing lion skin / Palm tree; club to lower left. BCD Euboia 566 (same dies); HGC 4, 1555. VF, slightly rough find patina. Very rare and superior to the BCD Euboia example sold in Lanz 111. Lot also includes a Histiaia AR Tetrobol (14.5mm, 2.49 g, 11h), HGC 4, 1523, in Fine condition.
