Klein 274 (this coin); Peus 376, lot 340; Rauch 88, lot 136; otherwise unpublished in the standard references. VF, dark green patina, some roughness. Very rare.

This rare issue of bronze is probably related to a recently discovered issue of silver hemidrachms featuring the bearded head of Zeus on the obverse and the same reverse as here (cf. CNG 79, lot 312).
