EASTERN EUROPE, Imitations of Lysimachos of Thrace. 2nd-1st Century BC. AR Tetradrachm (26mm, 16.69 g, 1h). Mule of Lysimachos obverse type with Alexander III reverse type. Uncertain mint. Diademed head of the deified Alexander right, with horn of Ammon / Zeus Aëtophoros seated left; in left field, facing crested Macedonian helmet(?). Unpublished in the standard references. Near VF, toned, light marks and scratches. Interesting.
