Napoli (Naples) mint; Giovan Battista Ravaschieri, mintmaster; Vincenzo Porzio, trial master. Struck 1561-1567. Bareheaded, armored, and draped bust right; (IBR)/(inverted [VP]) to left / Crowned coat-of-arms; shield within ornate frame. Cf. CNI XX 500 (for type); cf. Pannuti-Riccio 15a (same); MIR 171/1. VF, areas of deposits, small hairline flan crack.
