INDO-SASANIAN, Sind. Uncertain king. Mid 7th - early 8th centuries. AR Dinar (16.5mm, 6.99 g, 8h). Crowned bust right, imitating Sasanian style / Fire altar with attendants. Unpublished in the standard references. Fine, toned.

This issue is from a series that is virtually unknown, and apparently not subjected to any significant numismatic study. Stylistically, it appears to bridge the gap between the latest Sasanian-period issues of Sind and the earliest coinage of the Imperial Prataharas.
