Charioteer, wearing long chiton, holding kentron in left hand and reins in both, driving slow quadriga of horses right / Head of Apollo right, wearing laurel wreath; KATANAION to right. Mirone 47; HGC 2, 568; SNG ANS 1252; SNG Lloyd 896; Basel –; Dewing –; Gillet 386; Gulbenkian 183; Rizzo pl. XI, 2 (all from the same dies). Near EF, lightly toned, a little die wear. Attractive serene style for Apollo.
