Struck circa 792/3-796. + ◊:FFA in central panel, (Mercian m) and REX in lunettes above and below / + EÞ:EEL: MOD in two lines divided by solid bars, cross flanked by brackets above. Chick 229b (this coin, illustrated); SCBI –; BMC –; North 322; SCBC 908. Good VF, toned and well struck. Very rare.
