Diademed head right; Φ behind neck / BAΣIΛEΩΣ AΣANΔPOY, Nike, holding wreath in extended right hand, palm frond in left, standing left on prow left; Π to inner left, H (date) in exergue. EF, lustrous, area of flat strike and a couple light scratches on obverse. Unique stater of year 8.

This year 8 stater is particularly important, in that not only is it the first known stater of this year, it is also the only stater in Asander’s long series with a control mark on the obverse, and the only issue with the date in the exergue on the reverse.
