Bust, wearing military attire and tarboosh (fez) facing, hed right; malk misr (King of Egypt) in Arabic down left, faruq al-auwal (Faruq the First) in Arabic up right / al-Mamlakah al-Misriyah 1938 – 1307 (The Kingdom of Egypt 1938 – 1307) in Arabic; all within floral border; khamsat genehyat (five pounds) in Arabic above .
