MODERN REPLICAS. Lot of two (2) later cast copies of Roman Æ medallions. Includes: Trajan. Æ sestertius on a medallic flan (36.69 g). Laureate bust right, slight drapery / Trajan on horseback right, spearing fallen foe. Cf. RIC II 534 for type // Marcus Aurelius. Æ cast medallion, late 19th-early 20th century (38.80 g). Laureate, draped, and cuirassed bust right / Victory in quadriga left. Cf. Gnecchi 57 for type. Fine, the Trajan with severe edge knocks, both with some porosity. LOT SOLD AS IS, NO RETURNS.
