INDIA, Kushan Empire. Kanishka I. Circa AD 127-151. AV Dinar (20mm, 7.95 g, 12h). Main mint in Baktria (Balkh?). Early phase. Kanishka standing facing, head left, holding goad and scepter, sacrificing over altar to left; flame at shoulder / Mao (Mithra) standing left, extending in benediction and holding scepter; tamgha to left. MK 34 (dies unlisted), but cf. 31, die 20 (for obv.); ANS Kushan –. VF, hint of deposits. Rare early phase issue.
