KINGS of PAEONIA. Patraos. Circa 335-315 BC. AR Tetradrachm (23mm, 12.75 g, 6h). Astibos or Damastion mint. Laureate head of Apollo right / Warrior on horse rearing right, spearing enemy who defends with shield and spear; grape bunch over warrior’s shoulder, vertical thunderbolt below horse. Paeonian Hoard 125 (same dies); Paeonian Hoard II 60 (this coin); Peykov E2210; cf. AMNG III/2, 5; cf. SNG ANS 1032. VF, struck with worn obverse die.
