CILICIA, Tarsos. Pharnabazos. Persian military commander, 380-374/3 BC. AR Stater (19mm, 10.56 g, 1h). Struck circa 380 BC. Female head facing slightly left, hair in ampyx, wearing single-pendant earrings and necklace / Helmeted and bearded male head left, drapery at neck; KIΛIK[ION] to left. Casabonne Series 2; Moysey Issue 3, dies 1/a; SNG France 241–2 (same obv. die). VF, toned, some porosity. Very rare with ethnic in Greek, rather than Aramaic, letters.
