The Numismatic Chronicle. The Numismatic Chronicle. Annual Journal of the British Royal Numismatic Society. 1942, 1944-2013, complete (71 volumes). A long run of this most important numismatic journal, each issue features around a dozen or so important articles, mostly on ancient coins with some articles on English and world coins as well. The 1942 and 1944-1950 volumes are unbound in their original paper covers. These exhibit the typical chipping on the spines and covers. 1951-1955 are bound in matching quarter green cloth with marbled boards. 1956-1960 are bound in matching read leatherette with gilt lettering. 1961-2013 are all in the original red cloth as issued. The early paper cover issues are near Fine, the remainder are Fine or better with most being very fine or better.
