New Kingdom. Circa 1550-1070 BC. Green glazed steatite scarab (11x8mm). Face depicts Horus as a hawk, with flail (symbol of fertility) and neb (“master”) below. Horus as the hawk with a flail is sometimes depicted as hovering over the pharaoh. Small chip. Pierced.
