Faience foundation plaque of Neho II. 16th Dynasty, 664-525 BC. Both sides naming the Saite King Neho II with versions of his cartouche. Drilled and mounted for display in custom lucite stand. Dimensions: 4.5x4.3cm. Chipped around edge.

Neho II is mentioned multiple times in the Old Testament. In 2 Kings 23:29, as part of a long and fascinating tale, we learn that Neho met King Josiah of Judah at Meggido and slew him.
