This fibula is identical to one found in a tomb on the ground of the Rockefeller Museum, Jerusalem. From Inscriptions reveal: “This is a known Celtic name. Fibulae of this type bearing Gallic names are found on many sites – from Siberia to England....Fibulae were brought to this country [i.e., Israel] mainly by Roman soldiers.”
