Head of Persephone left, wearing wreath of grain ears, triple-pendant earring, and pearl necklace / Ajax, nude but for crested Corinthian helmet, holding sword in right hand, shield decorated with coiled serpent on left arm, advancing right on rocks; OΠON-T[IΩN] flanking; broken spear and Boeotian helmet below. H&D Group 20, 142c (O20/R3) = BCD Lokris 458.1 (this coin); HGC 4, 989. Near EF, toned.
