TROAS, Abydos. Early-mid 2nd century BC. AR Tetradrachm (35mm, 16.84 g, 12h). In the name and types of Lysimachos of Thrace. Diademed head of the deified Alexander right, with horn of Ammon / Athena Nikephoros seated left, left arm resting on shield, transverse spear in background; cornucopia to inner left; in exergue, eagle standing right within A-BY, flanked by two monograms. Seyrig casts 182.20 (same dies); New York Sale XX, lot 125 (same dies). Near EF, toned, slight die shift on obverse. Very rare.
