CARIA, Knidos. Circa 500-490 BC. AR Drachm (16.5mm, 6.13 g, 10h). Head of lion roaring right / Head of Aphrodite right, wearing stephanos and with hair in sakkos, within incuse square. Cahn Series II, 31 (V15/R29); SNG Copenhagen 202; SNG von Aulock 2592; Pozzi 2572 (all from the same dies). Good VF, toned, a little porosity.
