ITALY, Napoli (ducato). Stefano III. 821-832. Æ Light Follis (22mm, 2.14 g, 1h). Class 1. Facing bust of St. Gennaro (Januarius); S/C/S to left, I/A/N to right / Cross potent set on two steps; S T across field; all within wreath. Cf. CNI XIX 4 (for type); Pannuti 1; MIR 8; cf. MEC 14, 1-3 (for type). Near EF, dark green patina. Exceptional for issue.
