SICILY, Halykiai. Circa 400-397 BC. Æ Hexas or Dionkion (13mm, 3.37 g, 1h). Dionysos standing right, holding thyrsos / Boar standing left; two pellets (mark of value) above. Lazzarini, Monetazione, Series II, unlisted type; cf. CNS 43 (Himera?; obv. figure left, pellets around); HGC 2, 492 (Himeraia?). Fine, dark green-brown patina. Extremely rare, none in CNS or Lazzarini, only four in CoinArchives (as Himera).
