IONIA, Magnesia ad Maeandrum. Circa 150-140 BC. AR Tetradrachm (33mm, 16.92 g, 12h). Stephanophoric type. Euphemos, son of Pausanios, "magistrate”. Diademed and draped bust of Artemis right, bow and quiver over shoulder / Apollo Delphios standing left, resting on tall tripod to right, holding branch tied with fillet; EYΦHMOΣ ΠAYΣANIOY in two lines to left, meander pattern below; all within laurel wreath. Jones obv. die 8; SNG Copenhagen –; Waddington 1725. Good VF, toned, a few light scratches and marks, minor metal flaw on Artemis’ cheek.
