The Triumvirs. Octavian and Divus Julius Caesar. 38 BC. Æ Sestertius (or Dupondius?) (28mm, 17.45 g, 12h). Contemporary imitation. Bare head of Octavian right, wearing slight beard / Wreathed head of Divus Julius Caesar right. Cf. Crawford 535/1; cf. CRI 308; cf. Sydenham 1335; all for general type. Near VF, green and reddish-brown patina, slight die shift on the obverse, some porosity.
