The Triumvirs. Octavian and Divus Julius Caesar. 38 BC. Æ Sestertius (29mm, 13.55 g, 11h). Contemporary imitation. Bare head of Octavian right; star before / [D]IVOS/IVLIVS in two lines within laurel wreath. Cf. Crawford 535/2; cf. CRI 309; cf. Sydenham 1336; cf. RPC I 601; all for general type. VF, olive green and brown patina, pit (actually a casting hole) on the obverse, light scrape on the reverse.
