Є DWΛRD’ DЄI G’ RЄX ΛnG L’ D’ hB’, king standing facing, holding sword and shield, in ship with bowsprit; ornaments -1-1-, ropes 3/2, quatrefoils 4/3, lis 3, ship’s planks divided / DOmInЄ In FVRORЄ TVO ΛRGVTS mЄ, ornate cross with lis at ends and small Є in center; crowned lions in quarters, no lis in quarter, annulets on corners of central panel. Doubleday 179 (same dies); Schneider –; North 1223; SCBC 1500. Fine, ragged flan, large cut and scrapes on obverse.
