PTOLEMAIC KINGS of EGYPT. Ptolemy III Euergetes. 246-222 BC. Æ Hemiobol (20mm, 5.84 g, 12h). Uncertain mint in the Peloponnesos(?). Struck 230-222 BC. Laureate bust right, wearing aegis / Eagle with closed wings standing left on thunderbolt; to right, cornucopia. Svoronos 1000; Weiser 69; SNG Copenhagen 193-5; Noeske 126-9. VF, green patina with patches of red, minor porosity, a few cleaning marks.
